YOGA – YIN

Yin Yoga is a restorative, slow-paced style of yoga, incorporating principals of Traditional Chinese medicine, with asanas (postures) that are held for longer periods of time.

For Beginners asanas can be held from 45 seconds to 2 minutes. More advanced practitioners may stay in one asana for up to 5 minutes or more. Benefits of Yin Yoga include increased circulation, improved flexibility, releases fascia and improves joint mobility, balances the internal organs and improves the flow of Chi (the energy of life itself).
